You can mix and match classes using your single or 3 pass class. Each session includes Gentle Somatic Yoga with Allison followed by a unique and fresh somatic movement class taught by a rotating guest teacher. Somatic movement classes include but are not limited to teaching inspired by creative dance, yoga, body-mind centering, meditation and/or contemplative art practices. We welcome all bodies regardless of skill, level, or movement experience - all you need is a body, a comfortable space, and a dash of curiosity.

Movement Educator, Artist, Creator of EmbodieDance. EmbodieDance is an hour-long immersive movement experience that helps us to release tension and stress, awaken our senses and imagination, and widen our palette of movement skills together. Relax and enjoy as Lani guides you through a unique and eclectic blend of both ancient and contemporary mindful movement practices from East and West that will leave you feeling deeply refreshed, centered and integrated. September 12th: Virginia Munday
Virginia Munday is a dancer, choreographer, and educator based in the Raleigh / Durham area, North Carolina. After growing up in Florida, she received her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. After graduation she danced in New York before earning her MFA in Choreography, with Distinction, at Roehampton University of London in 2012. Her choreography has been presented in the US, Japan, and the UK. Virginia’s teaching credits include San Jose City, Foothill, Cabrillo, and West Valley Colleges located in the San Francisco Bay area and Silicon Valley. She offered courses in Contemporary Modern Dance Technique, Ballet, and Movement for Athletes as the Yearly Academic Adjunct Lecturer at Santa Clara University from 2019-2021. Currently, she is studying to become a Somatic Movement Educator in Body Mind Centering at Moving Within in Lorane, OR. She uses this current training and her interests in Laban Movement Analysis, Bartenieff Fundamentals, Yoga, and the Alexander Technique, to infuse her dance technique classes with these somatic influences.
November 14th: Sarah-Lu Baker
Sarah-Luella Baker MFA, Artist, Educator, Astrologer Using the tools of imagery, words, sound, and the practice of witnessing, Sarah-Lu will be guiding participants through sessions that tap into the individual and collective unconscious. Imagine that your body, and the body of the collective, has something to say and wants to communicate with you in new ways. No experience with movement, drawing, or writing is necessary for this work. Participants should come ready with materials like chalk or oil pastel, markers, paper, and writing implements.
December 12th: Kendra Adler
Somatic movement Educator, Earth Artist, Creator of Word As Movement. Word As Movement is an hour-long somatic movement practice that unlocks the power of words to transform the body and mind. We approach the body through authentic movement exercises, grounding practices, elemental meditation, and writing prompts. This experience creates a container for each person to be witnessed in their process of expression, healing, and rebirth. It offers space for us to listen to the subtle language of our body and the earth– the effects can be deeply therapeutic and integrative.
